Allan majored in Real Estate, graduating with honors from Cabrillo College in 1995. He is licensed as a Broker and sees education as an ongoing process, especially as it pertains to his Real Estate career. Allan continues to hone his skills by taking advantage of training offered through the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute) programs.

Allan is a member of the National Association of Realtors and The Santa Cruz Association of Realtors. He has been happily married since 1972 and has lived in the hills above Soquel for the past 11 years with his wife, Irene and cat, Catnip. He is a Sierra Club member and belongs to the Friends of Soquel Creek. He enjoys hiking, fitness, amateur radio (call sign AC6RA), water color, woodworking and gardening.
