Santa Cruz California Beach and Ocean Front Real Estate Information

Main Beach / Cowell:  Search Luxury Real Estate & Beach Homes Popular with tourists and athletes the Santa Cruz Main Beach has it all. Volleyball, surfing, boogie boarding, skim boarding, swimming, running and playing in the sun are just a few activities enjoyed at  this centrally located beach in front of the Beach Boardwalk. The Main Beach is the #1 tourist destination beach in the area. Numerous professional volleyball nets are set up to the right of the boardwalk for public use. Surfing on the Cowell side of Main Beach (to the right of the Municipal Wharf) has been going strong for 100+ years. Lifeguard towers operate in the summer months for swimmers and tourists enjoying the endless waves that lap at the shores.  Dining and shopping are directly across the sand as well as the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for amusement park lovers.

Natural Bridges State Beach community Natural Bridges is one of the best locations in Santa Cruz California for tide-poolers. The monarch butterflies in the eucalyptus trees above the beach from Late September through December are also a big draw to nature lovers. Walking trails through the groves and bicycle trails leading up the Coast are also part of what Natural Bridges has to offer.

Santa Cruz Harbor Beach / Twin Lakes Beach / Seabright beach properties  Adjacent to each other, the Santa Cruz Harbor Beach and Twin Lakes Beach have long been favored by Santa Cruz locals. Not as jam packed as the Santa Cruz Main Beach, the Harbor side of the beach is home to the Santa Cruz Yacht Club overlooking the vast array of sailboats and yachts moored in a protected area of the Bay. Volleyball nets and hobie-cats dot the Harbor beach. The Twin Lakes side of the beach tends to be more popular with families looking to play and picnic in the sun. Bonfires are also a nightly event seen in the warmer summer months on Twin Lakes Beach. The Seabright Beach to the right of the harbor inlet is dog friendly and a great place for shell, beach glass and driftwood collectors.

Pleasure Point real estate The Pleasure Point Beach area is a popular beach and surfing spot in the Eastside of Santa Cruz California. While the beach is relatively small, it is dog friendly and a great access point to the big waves off the point. Paved walking and bike trails along the cliffs draw locals and tourists alike to view some of Santa Cruz’s biggest wave riders.

Capitola beach listings Located in the historical town of Capitola, this small but ever popular beach is widely popular with locals and tourists. The big draw of this particular beach is the location to some of the best dining and boutique shopping in Santa County. Several vacation rentals are located within walking distance to this charming little beach and town. The water is much calmer and waves are smaller than the Westside of Santa Cruz.
